Dried Flowers: How To Make Artificial Rose Wreath
When it comes to Christmas, we all want to decorate our home to the superlative. We usually spend oodles of money buying expensive items for decoration but that is almost not required. Really, if you think expensive items can beautify your then you probably are mistaken. For an instance, you can use artificial flower as a replacement for natural flowers. They are not only as beautiful as fresh flowers but comparatively cheaper as well. You can make artificial Christmas wreath and that actually works.
You can make it using colorful artificial flowers. Artificial flowers come in unlimited range of prices, design and color. So let’s make one such wreath using artificial roses for Christmas.
You will need the following materials:
1) Artificial roses- 7 to 10 flowers
2) Willow wreath base (9 inch)
3) Dried bunch of caspia
4) Golden Raffia
5) Red acrylic spray paint
6) Glue
7) Red satin ribbons
First of all you will take the raffia and cut it twenty-four inch long. You will now take the raffia and cut it into four strips. The strips have to be 24 inch long. Now, tie one strip of raffia and bow at the lower side of the wreath. Tie the raffia in such a way that the two ends hangs from the wreath. You will now continue loping another three strips at the top, left and right position, along with the bow.
Try to keep the tendrils of raffia longer so that the wreath looks attractive. Now you will place the two blooms of artificial roses at the top right and left position. Take another three roses and place them the lower and upper side. You can also place the flowers at different direction depending upon your choice.
Now you will continue with caspia. Spray the caspia with red spray paint. Spray paint is easily available in any of the craft store. Leave it to dry. After the paint dries up, place it at the two sides of the rose at all the points stick the flowers with glue. Maintain the balance in color and other factors as well. Take the satin ribbons and loop around the top of the wreath. You can also place it wherever you feel like placing it. It’s your wreath, so you can make better decision. So work it out properly and you are done.
To make it more attractive, you can add some berries and decorative pearls as well. It adds a whimsy effect to the wreath. Work it out until you are done. Place this wreath wherever you like. Perhaps the door is perfect place.
